Cloyd H. (Jim) Williams, age 84, of 1194 Williams Lane, Warriors Mark, died June 25 at Altoona Hospital.
He was born August 24, 1918 in Centre County, the son of Ralph and Minnie (Laird) Williams.
On May 16, 1851 at the Centre Line United Brethern Church, he married Verna Gunsallus who survives.
He is also survived by two sons: James Cloyd Willias of Richland, Wa.; and Robert E. Williiams of Warriors Mark; one sister Beatrice Stiver of State College and three brothers; Harold of Everett; John of Everett; and Frank of Memphis, Tn.
He was preceded in death by four brothers.
Mr. Williams was a member of the Warriors Mark United Methodist Church, Warriors Mark Volunteer Fire Company, Warriors Mark Senior Citizens and served on various church boards.
He had worked on the family farm and then the Catapillar Co. in York and he retired from R.S.H. in 1980 after 17 years in the Heating and Ventalation department.
Funeral services for Mr. Williams will be Monday, Junen 30, 2003 at the Warriors Mark United Methodist Church with Pastor Tamara Smith and Pastor Gregory Lake officiating. Interment will be at Burket Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the Bruce E. Cox Funeral Home in Warriors Mark on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and on Monday June 30 at the Warriors Mark United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
