Emmanuel Baptist Church has set dates for its annual Mission – Tyrone.
The activities have been set for July 13-19. The week is full of fun, free activities, including a huge Family Fun Day.
Again this year, the youth from Orange Avenue Baptist Church in Green Cove Springs, Fla. will be in Tyrone to help Emmanuel with the week’s activities.
The activities will be kicked off on Sunday at 6 p.m. with a concert in downtown Tyrone at Hotel Park. The Emmanuel Baptist Church Praise band and the youth from Florida will be performing. Beginning on Monday and continuing through Thursday, a Kid’s Bible Club will be held int he morning from 10 a.m. to noon and a music camp in the afternoon from 2-3 p.m.
Both events will take place at the field on Lincoln Avenue next to Neptune Fire Hall.
On Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at the field, the children will perform the musical they learned during the week at the music camp.
The week’s event wrap up on July 19 from 4-8 p.m. when Emmanuel will host Family Fun Day at the field next to Neptune Fire Hall.
There will be food and games for all ages. All events are free.
