Frederick W. Bradford, 70, of 1742 Sunnyside Hollow Road, Port Matilda, died at his residence on Thursday, June 12, 2003.
Born May 16, 1933 in Tyrone, a son of the late Frederick E. and Cora Gunsallus Keller.
He was a member of The Rock of Ages Church in Tyrone and a truck driver for Gerald Keller Trucking of Osceola Mills.
He also rode motorcycles with the Blue Knights of State College and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and riding motorcycles.
On April 9, 1977, he married the former Mary M. Cowher, who survives at home.
He is survived by four daughters, Betty Lynn Collins of Port Matilda, Deborah Patterson of Tyrone, Barbara Ann Pier of Glendale, Az., and Bonnie Kyle of Bellwood; three sons, Christopher F. Bradford of Port Matilda, Frederick E. Bradford of West Decatur, and Timothy Bradford of Houtzdale.
Also, five sisters, Elsie Noll of Gatesburg, Mary Dillon of Tyrone, Anna Northy of Heathville, Va., Beatrice Leech of Atlanta, Ga., and Ida Walk of Northwood; three brothers, Elmer Bradford and Russell Bradford of Tipton, and Melvin Bradford of Palmyra; and 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Roy Bradford, and a brother, William Bradford.
Friends will be received at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home in Milesburg from 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, 2003. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 16, 2003 with Rev. James Cooper officiating.
Interment will follow in the Williams Cemetery in Huston Township.
