The Tyrone Community Players is looking for directors for the upcoming season.
\nIt’s important to the integrity of a theater company to have a varied stable of directors so productions show diversity and a fresh attitude.
\nAnyone with theater experience, who always thought they would like to direct, a mentor will be provided to help through it all. Don’t shy away from living the dream to direct.
\nProductions\u00a0 for the next season are: The Octette Bridge Club, HONK! and I\u2008Love You, You\u2019re Perfect,\u2008Now Change.
\nThe Octette Bridge Club set for October 11 and 12.
\nThe Bridge Club has a cast of eight women and would be the perfect show for a first-time director.
\nHONK! will be performed either the final week of March or the first week of\u00a0 April, 2009.
\nThis musical\u00a0 is a moderately-sized production featuring adults and a few children and is based on the fairy tale, The Ugly Duckling. A musical director is also needed for the delightfully clever production.
\nThe final production of the 2008-09 season is another musical.\u00a0 “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” is\u00a0 tentatively schedule for next summer (June 2009).\u00a0 This show offers an irreverent look at life, love, courtship and marriage and features a six-person cast.\u00a0 Additionally, a musical director is needed for this show.
