Grace Evelyn Gunsallus, 79, formerly of RD 3, Tyrone, died Saturday afternoon at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home where she was a resident for the past three years.
\nShe was born August 6, 1928 in Tyrone, a daughter of Frank E. and Margaret H. (Montgomery) Magill.
\nShe was married June 20, 1946 at Winchester, Va. to James H. Gunsallus who died in 1979.
\nShe is survived by a daughter Betsy Renwick (Charles) of RD 3 Box 54, Tyrone and a grandson Scott Renwick.
\nHer caregivers for many years, a niece Karen L. and Fred Rutherford of RD 3, Tyrone.
\nThree sisters and one brother: Betty Meek of Philipsburg, Pa., Joan O. Decker and Jean Iddings of Tyrone, and Albert Magill of Shiremanstown, Pa.
\nThere are several nieces and nephews.
\nShe attended the Church of the Good Shepherd and was once active in the Bald Eagle Grange and Senior Citizens Groups.
\nShe retired in 1970 from Big Yank Corp. after 26 years service.
\nBy request of the deceased there will be no viewing or services.
\nInterment will be at Bald Eagle Cemetery.
