Brittany not only looks like Cher, but this talented young lady has her down to where you will catch yourself doing more than one double take as she performs.”
Brittany graduated magna cum laude from Point Park University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Arts. Through her collegiate career, Brittany performed in several university productions such as “Marat-Sade”, “On Our Town”, “Anything Goes” and “Hair”. Amidst her studies she made her television debut on Saturday Night Live on May 7, 2004.
Upon graduation in May of 2006, Brittany moved to New York City to continue her performance career. Since then she has appeared in an independent film with Lori Petty from “A League of Their Own”, and also appeared in the Gold Case episode of “30 Rock”, starring Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin. She also can be found in the upcoming Will Smith movie, “I Am Legend.”
Brittany is also an established vocal artist and impersonator. During the summer of 2006, she was more than honored to pay tribute to her all-time favorite diva, Cher, by appearing as a semi-finalist on ABC’s hit show, “The Next Best Thing.” She is one of the absolute best Cher impersonators you are going to see anywhere.
This summer she performed at Millbrook Playhouse doing summer stock. Brittany played the role of Virginia Lear in the comedic Catholic tale of “Do Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up?”
She is so blessed to be able to share her craft with so many. She considers everyday in the Big Apple unpredictable but yet so exciting and rewarding.
“I really think people are going to be just amazed with Brittany and the way she does Cher. I am sure people will be very, very impressed with what they hear and see,” added Banas.
This year’s concert is Saturday evening, April 19 at the Tyrone Area High School Auditorium. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. sharp.
