The Tyrone Hospital Development Council has announced that Metz & Associates has joined Community Pharmacy, DelGrosso Foods and DelGrosso Amusement Park as a corporate sponsor of the Development Council\u2019s golf tournament.
\nRandy Miles, Sr, Chairman of the Development Council said the Council is both pleased and honored to have this level of support from the business community.
\n“It is exciting to have three recognized business leaders in our area, step forward to demonstrate their support for Tyrone Hospital.\u201d
\nDelGrosso Amusement Park and DelGrosso Foods have been corporate sponsors of the golf event since its inception several years ago. Community Pharmacy and Metz & Associates, who have also been regular contributors both increased their support this year to the corporate sponsor level.
\nThe Development Council will hold its annual golf event to benefit Tyrone Hospital on Wednesday August 27 at Sinking Valley Country Club.
\nThe golf tournament is the Development Council\u2019s largest annual fund raiser.
\nFunds raised via the golf tournament will be used to help pay for a renovation project that will make improvements to areas within Tyrone Hospital\u2019s emergency room and to the patient registration area. The improvements will provide greater patient privacy.
\nThe renovation will cost a minimum of $40,000.
\nMiles said the Council has extended the sign \u2013 up deadline for sponsors and golfer to August 13.
\n\u201cWe continue to receive inquiries about the event and want to give people every opportunity to sign-up,\u201d said Miles.
\nMiles said he also wanted to remind the community that you do not have to be a golfer to support Tyrone Hospital through this event. People who want to support Tyrone Hospital thru this event can do so by signing on as a golfer, sponsor, by making a monetary donation in any amount, or by attending the BBQ held in conjunction with the event for either lunch or dinner.
\nThe donation to attend the BBQ is $20 per person.
\nSponsorship opportunities are as follows; corporate sponsor $1,500, course sponsor $750, tee sponsor $300. The fee for a team of four golfers is $300 and morning and afternoon flights are available.
