On February 19, 2008, Anna Marie (Kost) Closson passed away peacefully. She was born May 14, 1928.
\nShe is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, George W. Closson of Tyrone; sons: William Paul of Pittsburgh, Kenneth James of Duncansville, and John Blair of Tyrone; daughters: Julia Ann Mitchell and Natalie Margaret Donaldson both of Pittsburgh; grandchildren: Jacqueline Marie, Erik Christopher, Vanessa Rose, Christine Elizabeth, Lauren Alicia, Christopher Ian, Matthew Smith, Ana Marie, Sarah Kathryn, Landon Ty, and Brittany Sage; brothers: Basil Kost of Tyrone and John Kost of Bellwood; and a sister: Julia Veronica Marshall of Pittsburgh.
\nAnna retired as a cafeteria worker at Bellwood-Antis School District. She was very active at St. Joseph\u2019s Catholic Church, Bellwood and St. Matthew\u2019s Catholic Church, Tyrone.
\nHer true joy in life was being around her children and grandchildren. She was a very special mother and grandmother and will be missed.
\nFriends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2008 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood where a vigil for the deceased will be held.
\nA funeral mass will be celebrated by Rev. David H. Roesch and Rev. Joseph Orr at 10 a.m., Friday, February 22, 2008 at St. Joseph\u2019s Catholic Church, Bellwood.
