Jim McDonald, a Tyrone native who spent 12 years working as a professional actor in Florida and Hollywood, will be the instructor for an 8-week series of acting workshops sponsored by The Tyrone Community Players.
\nMcDonald has much experience as a principle character on stage, in films and in episodic television and commercials. His training was with industry professionals via ongoing workshops, theater groups, film and television intensives and personal coaches.
\nThe workshops, which will begin on February 12, will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The Thursday evening classes will be flexible according to the individual participant\u2019s own schedule.
