He married Rita Jean Bernat on August 7, 1954 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church East Vandergrift.<br \/>\nSurviving are his wife; sons: Edward J., Jr. (Terry L.) of Tyrone RD3 and Gary A. (Debra) of Corona, CA.; grandchildren: Brandon M. and Krista M. Hribik; sister in law: Lynn Hribik of Ford City; and nieces and nephews.<br \/>\nHe was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew J. Hribik and two brothers.<br \/>\nEd retired in 1995 as a maintenance technician at PPG Industries, Tipton with 44 years of service.<br \/>\nHe was an Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.<br \/>\nEd was a member of St. Joseph\u2019s Catholic Church, Bellwood.<br \/>\nHe was a member of the Tyrone Elks, Tyrone Hookies and a former member of the Sinking Valley Country Club.<br \/>\nHe was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman, and also an avid sports fan.<br \/>\nFriends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2008 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood where a vigil for the deceased will be held.<br \/>\nA funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2008 at St. Joseph\u2019s Catholic Church, Bellwood by Rev. David H.
