Tyrone made the trip to up the Cresson Mountain on Tuesday to Ebensburg for a dual meet against Central Cambria.
\nThe short-handed Eagles forfeited four weight classes in a 43-27 Central Cambria victory.
\nTyrone had a 21-19 lead in matches actually wrestled.
\nCentral Cambria started and ended the dual meet by receiving forfeits.
\nAfter Tyrone forfeited at 171, and Dustin Weaver (1-23) dropped a 13-7 decision to Petrosky at 189, the Golden Eagles got on the scoreboard, when Wayne Dembitsky (1-10) picked up his first varsity win by pinning Dan Ott in 2:45, at 215.
\nCorey Barnhart (3-18), usually the Eagles 215-pounder moved up to 285, and was edged by Central Cambria\u2019s Demchak 7-5.
\nThe two schools exchanged forfeits at the top of the lineup, with A.J. Schopp (29-3) picking up the six points at 112, and Brad Kline receiving a forfeit for the Red Devils at 103.
\nAt 119, Donnie Hunter (1-2) returned to the Tyrone lineup for the first time since the Huntingdon dual, and was pinned by Jeff Long in 5:07.
\nChase Weaver and Anthony Romano gave the Golden Eagles back-to-back victories at 125, and 130, for the only time in the match.
\nWeaver (11-14) pinned Brett Bellock in 4:57, at 125, and then Romano (26-7) decked Mike Kline at 130, in 3:40.
\nCentral Cambria picked up a forfeit at 135, for Phil Steinberg, Pat Connah majored the Eagles\u2019 Cody Weaver (17-12), by a 12-4 score, and Jake Kozorosky downed Eagle sophomore James Weston (9-17) 7-2, at 145.
\nIn the last match wrestled on the mat, Jeremy Barlett (17-9) turned the tales on Max Bodenschatz, winning a 7-2 decision, at 152. Barlett stopped a personal three-match losing streak, after winning 12 in a row.
\nTyrone is back in action tonight at Altoona, at 7 p.m..
