The Tyrone swim teams traveled to Westmont for a meet against Westmont-Hilltop on Friday evening. The Tyrone boys dropped a close 89-80 decision to Westmont, with Ethan Nulton, Dustin Elder and Allen Hosko winning individual events and the Eagles won two of the three relays. Nulton won the 200 IM, Elder took the 500 freestyle and Hosko won the 100 breaststroke.
\nThe 200 medley relay was composed of Nulton, Hosko, Elder and Ian McGregor, and the 200 freestyle relay had Kegan Fink, McGregor, Elder and Nulton.
\nThe Tyrone Lady Eagles lost a 11-55 decision in the Westmont pool to the Lady Hilltoppers.
\nChynna Beisel had the only victory for the Tyrone girls, winning the 500 meter freestyle.
\nBeisel was also second in the 200 freestyle, Christina Brisbin was second in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke, Brittany Day was second in the 100 freestyle, and Kelly Pearson was second in the 100 backstroke. Pearson, Brisbin, Salena Bradigan and Day were also second in the 200 medley relay.
