The members of Christ United Methodist Church are working on many projects in the upcoming months.
\nA new, updated church directory is in the works to include names, addresses, emails and telephone numbers of members and friends of the Christ UM Church family.
\nAnyone with changes since the last directory was printed are asked to notify the church office as soon as possible.
\nThere is also a campaign underway to replace the chairs in the Fellowship Hall.
\nCouncil approved the purchase of 200 new chairs with donations from Church members and family.
\nA donation of $20 will purchase a chair that can be given in memory or in honor of a loved one.
\nGeneral donations will also be accepted. Checks can be made payable to Christ UMC. Please mark \u201cchairs\u201d on the envelope of all donations.

\nAlso, in observance of Easter, individuals are invited to place a lily in the sanctuary or give a \u201cFlower of Concern\u201d in memory or in honor of a loved one.
\nForms are available and are due on or before Sunday, March 9.
\nA \u201cFlower of Concern\u201d can be given for a donation of $5 or more and a lily cost $6.50 per plant.
\nThe flowers will adorn the sanctuary for Easter worship and can be taken home following 9:30 a.m. service on Sunday, March 23.
\nAnd, as always, the Golden Heirs are set to meet February 6 at noon at Joe\u2019s Place. Anyone planning to attend is asked to sign the reservation form on the bulletin board outside the Pastor\u2019s office.
\nChrist United Methodist Church is located at 1359 Pennsylvania Avenue.
\nWorship service is held Sunday at 9:30 a.m. followed by Sunday school at 10:30 a.m.
