The Tyrone Community Players recently announced auditions for \u201cThe Kitchen Witches\u201d.
\nAuditions are scheduled for Sunday and Monday, February 3 and 4 at 7 p.m. each night.
\nDirector Ed Kuhstos will hold the auditions at The TCP Building, 1019 Logan Avenue, Tyrone.
\nAccording to a press release from TCP, this comedy features the antics of Isobel Lomax and Dolly Biddle. They are two \u201cmature\u201d cable-access cooking show hostesses who have hated each other for 30 years, ever since Stephen Biddle dated one and married the other.
\nThe TV station manager feels the combination of Dolly and Isobel would make for great television and pairs them up on a show called \u201cThe Kitchen Witches\u201d. The insults are flung harder than the food! Dolly\u2019s long-suffering TV-producer son Stephen tries to keep them on track, but as long as Dolly\u2019s dressing room is one inch closer to the set than Isobel\u2019s, it\u2019s a losing battle.
\nYou guessed it, the show becomes a rating smash as Dolly and Isobel top both Martha Stewart and Jerry Springer!
\nAccording to folklore, \u201cKitchen Witches\u201d bring good luck and make the kitchen a warm, cozy, and comfortable place filled with laughter.
