Daniel Pighetti, 69, of Pennsylvania House, 2 W. 11th St., Tyrone died Friday, January 11, 2008 at the Tyrone Hospital Emergency Room.
\nHe was born December 15, 1938 in Pleasant Gap a son of Leon G. and Annette (Corrigio) Pighetti. He was formerly married to Gloria Frye of Tyrone and Linda Shimel of Philipsburg who both survive.
\nAlso surviving is a daughter, Paula Kobak and husband Dennis of Tyrone, two grandchildren, Danielle and Kati, and a sister Jane Meyers of Bellefonte. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Nevin, Harold, Leo and a sister Violet Taylor.
\nMr. Pighetti retired in 1995 from Murata Electronics, State College as a kiln operator following 29 years service. He was previously employed at Frost Construction, State College for a number of years.
\nHe was a U.S. Army veteran serving from 1957-1960 and was an avid hunter and trapper.
\nFuneral services will be held Monday, January 14, 2008 at 7 p.m. at Feller Memorial Home with Rev. Patricia Gable officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 6 p.m. until the time of services.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
