As stated on their website, www.keystoneregiment.com, their \u201cgoal is to recreate the life and times of these men and women through reenactments, education activities, and historic displays at public events. To teach the public the history of early America and the struggles it endured.\u201d<br \/>\nMike Gherrity, a resident of Birmingham, is the Captain of the organization.<br \/>\nThis group will reenact and participate in living history events as Company A of the 110th Regiment of Pennsylvania Volunteers. This regiment had companies from Blair, Huntingdon and Bedford counties. Company A was raised and commanded by James Crowther, a resident of Tyrone, who later served as Colonel of the regiment. They will also reenact as the 1st Pennsylvania Light Artillery, Battery D. This unit was first established as the Tyrone Artillery.
