The Tyrone Community Partnership announced that the \u201cSoup Tasting\u201d scheduled as part of the Yuletyme Christmas festivities has been canceled.
\nThe organization cited the lack of participants as the reason for the event\u2019s demise.
\nMore than thirty local restaurants and other organizations were solicited for what would have been the ninth annual event.
\nEven after follow-up telephone contacts, the response was such that it was deemed there was insufficient interest to hold the soup tasting this season.
\nMembers of the Partnership hope to renew the event in the future.<\/p>\n
