Robert John \u201cBob\u201d Dill, 73, of Bellwood, died Tuesday morning, May 27, 2008 at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus.
\nBob was born July 23, 1934 in Hollsopple, a son of the late Stephen and Anna (Stys) Dill. He married Elaine C. Corbett on April 14, 1956 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Hooversville.
\nSurviving are his wife; daughters: Cathy Walter and husband, Andy of Oxford and Kim Joyce and husband, Brian of Noblesville, IN; grandsons: Andrew Walter, Jr., Brian Joyce, Jr. and Dillon Joyce; a brother: Donald Dill and wife, Delores of Lancaster, OH; a sister: Patricia Bigelow and husband, David of Hawaii; and mother-in-law: Catherine Corbett of Stoystown.
\nBob retired as a Customer Engineer at IBM with 31 years of service. He was a Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a graduate of DeVry University, Chicago, IL.
\nBob was a member of St. Joseph\u2019s Catholic Church, Bellwood.
\nHe enjoyed woodworking, masonry and electronics.
\nFriends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, June 2, 2008 at St. Joseph\u2019s Catholic Church, Bellwood.
\nA funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m., Monday at the church by the Rev. David H. Roesch, celebrant.
\nCommittal at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
