Trick-or-treat night is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25 in Blair County, including Tyrone, Bellwood, Antis Township, Snyder Township and Warriors Mark.
\nHowever, for those who don\u2019t want to go door to door that evening, there are several alternatives.
\nFirst Assembly of God Church will host its annual \u201cLight the Night\u201d event from 6 to 8 p.m. in the church\u2019s parking lot behind Burger King.
\nThere will be games, prizes, face painting, puppet shows, Handi the Clown, candy, hot dogs, popcorn and hot chocolate. This event is free.
\nBible Baptist Church will also be sponsoring a \u201cFall Fellowship\u201d on trick-or-treat night from 6 to 8 p.m.
\nThe church is located at 1455 Hamilton Avenue, behind Bressler\u2019s Food Mart, and the event is free to the public.
\nThere will be games and prizes, balloons, candy, popcorn, hotdogs, and drinks during the event.
\nFinally, a \u201cLight the Night\u201d activity will be held at the residence of Lynn and Shelby Shaffer at 2114 Columbia Avenue.
\nThe whole family is invited to spend the evening enjoying events such as games, music, food and door prizes.
\nActivities are scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. A youth rally will follow, beginning at 8 p.m.
\nThe event is free to the public and made possible by donations from the community.

\nTrick-or-treating door-to-door can be a dangerous activity without the appropriate supervision and precautions. Wear bright colors and make sure masks do not hinder the ability to see.
\nThese Light the Night events provide a fun and safe alternative environment for children and families during Halloween.
