Judith L. Dick, 63, of RD2 Tyrone, Reightown, died Monday, October 15, 2007 at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus.
\nShe was born August 6, 1944 in Reightown, Antis Township, a daughter of the late George C. and Alice M. (Faust) Black.
\nShe married Robert W. Dick on January 25, 1964 at Logan\u2019s Valley Baptist Church, Bellwood. He died October 5, 2002.
\nSurviving are sons: Melvin S. Dick, Sr. of Tyrone RD2, Robert W. Dick, Jr. and his wife, Cheri M. and Andrew B. Dick all of Altoona; a daughter: Melissa K. Tilson of Altoona; four grandchildren: Chelsea L. Tilson, William G. Tilson, Jr., Cheyenne Ferris and Melvin S. Dick, Jr.; brother: Herbert S. Black of Altoona; sisters: Katherine E. Waite of Grazierville, Ellen M. Stevens of Juniata and a foster sister, Susan of Harrisburg; many nieces and nephews who loved her and also special friends: Marge Hamer, Mary Hollen and the Morningstar and Engle families.
\nJudith was preceded in death by a brother, David C. Black; a sister: Alice Focht and many half brothers and sisters.
\nShe enjoyed playing bingo and hanging out with her friends at the Morningstar Restaurant, Bellwood.
\nA memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2007 at Blair Memorial Park Chapel with Rev. A. Michele Somerville officiating. Inurnment at Blair Memorial Park Mausoleum, Antis Township.
\nIn lieu of flowers, contributions in Judy\u2019s memory may be made to her family c\/o Melvin S. Dick, Sr., RD2 Box 230 Tyrone, Pa. or a charity of individual choice.
