\"\"<\/a>Bill and Judy Jones of Tyrone recently celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary, and they have also been performing as the gospel singing duo, About Him, for 12 years now.
\nTo make About Him a trio, Bill\u2019s sister, Pat Schell, joined them in April of 2006.
\nPat lives in Phoenixville, PA and has to trek 200-miles to Tyrone just so the group can practice together.
\n\u201cShe brings a lot to the group with harmonies,\u201d added Bill.
\nPat also works full-time as the secretary at her church. She has two children and four grandchildren.
\nThe group\u2019s latest recording was released in May of 2007, which includes Pat\u2019s vocals. The album is self-titled, \u201cAbout Him\u201d.
\nAs well as locally, About Him performs as far away as Ohio and northern Maryland.
\nThis Sunday, About Him has scheduled two performances in this area. Beginning at 10:30 a.m., they will be singing a full concert at Osceola Mills Free Methodist Church. Also at 6 p.m., they will be performing a full concert at Rock of Ages Church in Tyrone.
\nA free will offering will be taken at both services.
\n\u201cWe get booked so early that it\u2019s hard to get booked locally,\u201d said Bill.
\nHe said if anyone in the area is interested in booking them for an event, please contact them at least four months in advance.
\n\u201cWe\u2019d love to do more stuff locally,\u201d he added.
\nIf practicing and performing for About Him doesn\u2019t already keep Bill busy enough, he graduated from Altoona Bible Institute in May of 2007. He will be ordained in the ministry in the near future.
