Julie L. Biddle, age 38, of State College, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, September 5, 2008 at her home, after a courageous battle with brain cancer.
\nShe was born November 3, 1969 in Altoona, the daughter of Richard G. and Deborah M. (Haigh) Darnell.
\nShe married Charles W. Biddle on October 16, 1993 in Altoona.
\nSurviving are her husband, Charlie of State College; two daughters, Abigail and Elizabeth both at home; and one sister, Jennifer L. Davis and her husband Jay of Tyrone.
\nShe was a 1987 graduate of Altoona Area High School, and a 1991 graduate of Penn State University.
\nMrs. Biddle was an active member of the Fourth Street Church of God, where she was an original member of the Bible Quiz Team.
\nPrior to her illness, she was employed at the ShoeFly store in Tyrone.
\nShe enjoyed going on vacation in Florida and being with her family, and also watching her daughters play soccer.
\nFriends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at The Good Funeral Home, Inc., located at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2008 at the funeral home, with Reverend Jon R. Neely officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
