Executive Director of the Tyrone Area Chamber of Commerce, Rose Black, informed the Daily Herald late Friday that due to the overwhelming response to the Ben DelBaggio Memorial Golf Classic, the Chamber must now add two tee times to the event!
\nThe golf tournament has become a way to honor local businessman and friend Ben DelBaggio, and the event is scheduled for Thursday, September 20 at the Sinking Valley Country Club.
\nDue to the overwhelming response to the event, there will now be two tee times. First tee off will be at 8 a.m. and the second one will be at approximately 1:30 p.m.
\nRegistration will begin at 7 a.m. Lunch is scheduled to start at 11:30 a.m. for all golfers and volunteers.
\nSkill prizes and awards will be presented after the tournament.
\n\u201cIt\u2019s not too late to join many of Ben\u2019s family, friends and business partners in the golf tournament,\u201d said Black. \u201cEnter a team or individual golfer, be a hole sponsor, donate a door prize or volunteer on the course to be a part of this special event.\u201d
