Rosemary Duey-Adkins, 53, of Virginia Beach, Va., formerly of Tyrone, went to be with the Lord August 25, 2007 at Sentara Leigh Hospital, Norfolk, Va. following an extended illness.
\nShe was born May 9, 1954 in Baltimore, Md., a daughter of Harry E. Duey Jr. and Josephine Drasal of Tyrone.
\nShe married Mark Adkins in Virginia.
\nSurviving are her parents; her husband of Virginia; a daughter, Ariel Adkins of Virginia Beach, Va.; sisters Debra Semple and husband William of Virginia Beach, Va. and Lisa Duey of Waldorf, Md.; brothers Harry E. Duey III of Tyrone and Lael Duey and wife Anitra of Tyrone.
\nAlso surviving are two nieces and two nephews, Joshua Duey, Echo Semple, Seth Semple and Micaylee \u201cMacaroni\u201d Duey.
\nShe attended Tabernacle Baptist Church in Virginia Beach, Va. and worked as project manager for Block Roofing of Norfolk, Va. for many years.
\nFriends will be received from 10:30 to 11:30 Saturday at the Bible Baptist Church in Tyrone. Service will be held at 11:30 by Harry E. Duey Jr.
\nInterment at Blair Memorial Park.
