The Tyrone Church of the Brethren is hosting it\\’s Annual Strawberry Festival on Saturday, June 23 from noon to 3 p.m. Many different types of strawberry desserts and confections will be available. Sandwiches and light lunch items will also be available for purchase for those who would like a complete lunchtime meal.
\nThe church is located at 500 W. 18th Street on the corner of Adams and 18th. The money collected will be used for mission and outreach through the Church of the Brethren\\’s Middle Pa District Disaster Relief Ministry. This ministry pays the expenses of teams of volunteers from Church of the Brethren and others to travel to disaster stricken areas and provide labor to rebuild homes, churches and lives.
