An incident of criminal mischief and attempted burglary occurred in Antis Township, sometime between May 27 and June 6.
\nHollidaysburg State Police report that unknown actor(s) attempted to enter a storage shed located on a vacant lot just outside of Bellwood that was owned by David Ray Knapp.
\nThe actor(s) used a blunt object in attempt to pry open the front doors.

\nA theft incident occurred at Eastlawn and Grandview Cemeteries in Snyder Township, between May 27 and 28.
\nHollidaysburg State Police report that unknown actor(s) stole solar powered butterflies from the gravestone of Dorothy Mull\u2019s son. Also missing were several of the brass Armed Forces grave markers.
\nIt appears that this incident is not related to the other thefts of brass markers in Antis and Greenfield Townships.
\nThe actor accused of these thefts was at the Blair County Prison when this theft occurred.
\nThe investigation continues.

\nA theft incident occurred at Tyrone Area High School, between May 29 and May 30.
\nUnknown actor(s) stole at least six 30-foot long aluminum bleacher seats. Total theft is approximately $1,500.
\nAnyone with information is asked to call Hollidaysburg State Police at 696-6100.

\nA two vehicle accident occurred along SR 220 near Goss Hollow Road in Taylor Township, June 3.
\nPhilipsburg State Police report that both vehicles were traveling north on SR 220. Marvin Stahl, age 64, of Acme, PA was behind Barbara Snider, age 70, of Port Matilda. Snider slowed down to make a left turn and Stahl attempted to pass on the left which resulted in striking the left rear of Snider\u2019s vehicle. This caused it to exit the roadway.
\nBoth vehicles required towing and the road was closed for approximately 20 minutes.

\nA theft incident occurred along Van Scoyoc Hollow Road in Snyder Township between June 4 and June 8.
\nHollidaysburg State Police report that Nancy Walk of RD 3, Tyrone reported particular items stolen from her residence.
\nThe nature and character of the items cannot be revealed in order to not compromise the investigation.
\nThe investigation continues.

\nA theft incident occurred along SR 350, two miles north of Bald Eagle in Taylor Township, June 6.
\nPhilipsburg State Police report that unknown actor(s) removed a large multi-colored quilt from Macil Hefferan\u2019s clothesline that she had just finished making. Value is approximately $400.
\nAnyone seeing any suspicious vehicles or persons in the area please call Philipsburg State Police.

\nAn incident of aggravated assault occurred along Igou Road in Antis Township, June 7.
\nHollidaysburg State Police report that in the commission of this incident Brenda Swope, age 44, of Tyrone, the mother of the accused, broke up a physical altercation between the accused, her 15-year-old daughter, and her 17-year-old daughter. While restraining her 15-year-old daughter, the 15-year-old obtained possession of a large kitchen knife and attempted to cause physical harm to her mother, stating \u201cI\u2019m going to kill you\u201d.
\nDuring the search of the 15-year-old, keys to the family gun cabinet were located in her pocket. When asked why she had the keys, she advised that she wanted to harm herself.
\nShe was taken into custody and transported to the Altoona Hospital Crisis Center, where an application for a mental health warrant was completed. She was committed to the crisis center for evaluation.
\nCharges of aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangering, terroristic threats, and harassment were to be filed. All charges will be filed in adult court, via criminal complaint.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
