Area young people are invited to do some \u201cSuper Sleuthing\u201d this summer as the Tyrone-Snyder Public Library presents its summer reading program \u201cGet a Clue @ Your Library\u201d.
\nThis program is for pre-school ages through 8th grade. The library will have great special programs, plus everyone will be able to read books for super prizes.
\nRegistration will begin June 18, and the program will end July 28.
\nSome of the special programs to be held are: Penn State Forensic Dept., The Mystery of Peppermint Park with Steve Engel\u2019s puppet zoo, Animal CSI with the \u201cCreature Teacher\u201d Jody Wallace, Be A Detective, Make It In Code and Disguise Yourself.
\nNew this year is a \u201cBaker Street Irregulars\u201d Book Club for 4th through 8th graders. This is a mystery book club to be held Thursdays from noon to 1 p.m., with lunch and books provided. Those interested need to register by June 30 as there is a limit of 15 participants.
\nAlso, there will be a fun activity, \u201cWhere in Tyrone is Sherlock Holmes?\u201d. Children will hunt through the businesses of Tyrone to find where Sherlock Holmes is staying for the week.
