First Assembly of God, located on 12th Street and Blair Avenue in Tyrone, has already announced plans for this year\u2019s spring Mission\u2019s Convention.
\nThe convention will be held earlier this year so be sure to mark your calendars for February 25-28.
\nThings will kick off on Sunday, February 25 at 6:30 p.m. with Jeff Book, N. Asia.
\nOn Monday, February 26, Todd LaBute, Asia Pacific Theological Seminary, will speak at 6:30 p.m. and then on Tuesday, February 27 at 6:30 p.m. the guest will be Fred Howsare, Asia Pacific.
\nFinally, the Mission Banquet will begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, with Fred Kovach, Media Missionary with Global University.
\nLooking ahead, Fall Mission\u2019s Emphasis is planned for September 15-16 and Homecoming Sunday is scheduled for October 7.
\nOther upcoming events this month include the men\u2019s breakfast get-together on Saturday, January 13 at Joe\u2019s Place. The group is growing, so plan to attend this fun time of fellowship. Those who wish to attend should call the church or look for a sign-up sheet in the church lobby.
