{"id":39784,"date":"2006-12-26T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2006-12-26T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tyronepa.com\/v3\/?p="},"modified":"2006-12-26T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2006-12-26T00:00:00","slug":"David-Henry-Barto","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tyronepa.com\/?p=39784","title":{"rendered":"David Henry Barto"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>David Henry Barto, 89, of 3915 Tadpole Rd., Pennsylvania Furnace, died December 23, 2006 at his home.<br \/>\nHe was born January 30, 1917 on Tadpole Rd., a son of Margaret (Kustenbauder) and George Barto.<br \/>\nOn August 2, 1940 in Franklinville he married Madaline C. Noll who survives.<br \/>\nAlso surviving are two daughters and two sons: Elise and husband Joseph Sherwood of Rochester, NY, Helen C. and husband Raymond Knepp of Tyrone, Paul and wife Danya of Warriors Mark and Donald Barto; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one sister, Bertha Rich of Syracuse, NY.<br \/>\nHe was preceded in death by one son, Charles and one sister and three brothers.<br \/>\nMr. Barto served in the Navy from 1942-1943. He was self employed in the construction trades and also an accomplished electrician. Later he retired from John C. Yenter Inc., Tyrone in 1965. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting trips west for deer hunting, also fishing at Indian River Rehobeth Beach, Delaware.<br \/>\nFuneral services will be held December 28, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Cox Funeral Home, Warriors Mark with Rev. Roy Garthwaite officiating.<br \/>\nPlace of burial is Gatesburg Cemetery.<br \/>\nFriends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>David Henry Barto, 89, of 3915 Tadpole Rd., Pennsylvania Furnace, died December 23, 2006 at his home.
