Ronald G. Vanscoyoc, 43, of State St., Sandy Ridge, died December 31, 2006 in Altoona Hospital.
\nHe was born February 6, 1963 in Philipsburg, a son of Roy and Margaretta (Alsop) Vanscoyoc who survive in Morann.
\nHe attended Moshannon Valley High School and was a graduate of Stratford Institute in Virginia.
\nHe was employed as an equipment technician at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club on Gainesville, Va.
\nOn February 3, 2006 in Cumberland, Md. he married Laura (Webster) Vanscoyoc who survives in Sandy Ridge.
\nAlso surviving are Ronald G. Vanscoyoc Jr. and his wife Shiloe of Tyrone, Heidi Sue Harvey and her husband Timothy of Easley, SC and Autumn Tillman of Clearfield; three grandchildren: Cierra Rougeux of Clearfield, Tyler Tillman of Georgia and Carson Grahm of Clearfield; two step-children: Jessica Pierson and Christopher Handte of Sandy Ridge; siblings: Dennis Vanscoyoc and his wife Linda of Hershey, Virginia L. Demko and her husband Russell of Morann, Joann Carowick and her husband Michael of McAleavys Fort and Susan K. Gummo of Tyrone and her friend, Bill Anderson of Glendale YearRound.
\nHe was preceded in death by a brother Roy W. Vanscoyoc Jr.
\nServices were held at Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home, Inc., Houtzdale on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mark Melhorn.
\nInterment at Beulah Cemetery, Ramey.
