Champion Life Center announced it will hold a community-wide Thanksgiving Day Dinner on Thursday, November 23 at 5 p.m.
\nThe Thanksgiving dinner is open to anyone and includes: turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes, corn, gravy, deserts and roll.
\nThe community-wide Thanksgiving day dinner will be prepared at the Champion Life Center by community volunteers and served in Champion Hall located inside the main entrance of the Champion Life Center at 5 p.m. Advance reservations are requested.
\nThanksgiving day dinner recipients are asked to contribute two dollars to help defray the cost of their dinner, as they are able.
\n\u201cNo one will be turned away for a Thanksgiving day meal,\u201d said, Meghan Baldwin, Director of Food Services. Advance reservations are requested for this dinner.
\nThis is the fourth year for this community-wide Thanksgiving day dinner, which has had hundreds of participants and volunteers over the past four years.
\n\u201cThis is our fourth year providing a Thanksgiving day dinner and a lot of community members look forward to this special day of food and fun,\u201d said Pastor James Baldwin, President of Champion Life Center.
\nChampion Life Center is seeking individuals and businesses to become sponsors of the community-wide Thanksgiving day dinner being held on Thursday, November 23. Sponsors\u2019 names will be displayed on placemats being used for the dinner.
