Three vehicles were involved in an accident at the intersection of the I-99 northbound ramp and old Route 220 in Bald Eagle, Snyder Township on Nov. 5 at 6:05 p.m.
\nPolice said a vehicle operated by 39-year-old Denise L. Stone of Hollidaysburg was traveling north on the road behind a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Thomas A. Summerson of Johnstown. Shawn M. Eckenrode was operating a vehicle behind Stone\u2019s.
\nSummerson braked hard for what he thought was a small animal on the road. Stone swerved to the left, but the right front of her vehicle hit the left rear of Summerson\u2019s car. Eckenrode swerved to the right, but the left front of his vehicle hit the right rear of Summerson\u2019s car.
\nNo injuries were reported, but two young children, ages four and eight, were taken to Altoona Regional Health System as a precaution.

\nState police investigated criminal mischief incidents that happened in Antis Township sometime between 3 p.m. on Nov. 7 and 7 a.m. on Nov. 8.
\nPolice said two Altoona residents had vehicles parked near the railroad tracks along State Route 4018, about three-tenths of a mile north of State Route 4019. Someone smashed all the windows out of both vehicles.

\nA Tyrone man suffered minor injuries in a hit-and-run accident on Stetter Road in Antis Township on Nov. 8 at 12:28 p.m.
\nState police said 33-year-old Todd Walk was driving north on the road when he failed to negotiate a curve. His vehicle traveled onto the berm and hit a utility pole. Walk left the scene on foot.
\nPolice said he was wearing a seat belt and his vehicle had damage to its left front end.

\nThree drivers were involved in an accident on State Road 4023 in front of the Tipton firehall on Nov. 8 at 4 p.m.
\nPolice said vehicles operated by Walter Fleck of West Decatur and William A. Erbeck of Tyrone were stopped on the road behind other traffic that was stopped for a train crossing the road.
\nTheresa M. Germino of RR 2, Tyrone was traveling north and upon approaching the firehall, she developed a nose bleed and was answering her cell phone. Police said the woman dropped her cell phone on the floor. Upon looking up from the floor, Germino saw that traffic in front of her was stopped. She applied her brakes in an attempt to avoid hitting Fleck\u2019s vehicle. She was unable to do so. Her vehicle hit the rear end of Fleck\u2019s vehicle. Upon that impact, Fleck\u2019s vehicle was pushed forward and hit Erbeck\u2019s car.
\nFleck suffered minor injuries. All three drivers and a passenger in Erbeck\u2019s car were all wearing seat belts. None of those occupants were injured.
