Tyrone\\’s Junior High Lady Eagles ended their season with a 35-24 loss to Williamsburg on Thursday afternoon at the Tyrone Area High School gym.
\nTyrone played hard the whole game with Casey Baird (nine points) and Marah Hawes (11 points) providing most of the scoring but the Lady Pirates were just a little too accurate and pulled away in the third period.
\nEverhart and Shaul led Williamsburg with nine and seven points respectively.
\nHawes netted eight of her game high 11 in the fourth period to close the gap in the end.
\nAriane Miller scored four points and finished the season by scoring at least one point in every game.
\nTyrone ended the season with a 5-15 record. Williamsburg finished at 17-2
\nTyrone\\’s \\”B\\” team ended on a winning note as they upended the Lady Pirates 15-5.
\nAshley Ford led Tyrone with six points along with Olivia Stever\\’s five as Tyrone finished at 10-7 on the year.
\nEagle bits: Casey Baird was Tyrone\\’s leading scorer with 104 points. Marah Hawes ended with 80, Ashley Ford had 57 and Ariane Miller had 50. The Junior High season will move to the winter season next year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
