A 17-year-old girl and two passengers escaped injury after a hit-and-run accident on State Route 4019, just south of State Route 4018 in Pinecroft, Antis Township on Oct. 22 at 10:40 a.m.
\nThe crash occurred when the girl was traveling north on the road and lost control of her vehicle on a sharp left curve. The vehicle struck a bridge twice and came to a rest at the intersection of State Route 4018. Police said the driver and two passengers left the scene but were located a short time later.
\nPolice said the driver was traveling too fast for conditions. Her passengers, 21-year-old Albert J. Overman and a 15-year-old Bellwood boy, were not hurt. Police said the driver and the teenage boy were wearing seat belts, but Overman was not.
\nCharges were to be filed against the teen driver for hit-and-run and other traffic violations at Magisterial District Judge Fred Miller\u2019s office.

\nState police in Huntingdon investigated a DUI-related crash that happened on State Route 350 in Warriors Mark on Oct. 22 at 10:40 a.m.
\nPolice said 24-year-old Raul Tejada of Spruce Creek was traveling north and lost control of his vehicle as he entered a curve. His vehicle struck an embankment and flipped onto its side. An investigation produced an allegation the driver was under the influence and charges were filed.
\nTejada was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. His vehicle had moderate damage.

\nA New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company construction trailer located on E. 10th Street in Tyrone was the scene of a burglary sometime between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Oct. 22.
\nPolice said an unknown person took a lock off the construction trailer. The person or persons then entered the trailer and removed two generators and fled the scene undetected.

\nA Tyrone woman was the victim of a theft on Oct. 23 between 8 and 8:45 p.m. in Snyder Township.
\nThe victim, Sherri Lee Kobuck, was working at Dr. Gary Kistner\u2019s office when she placed her purse with other purses in a room at the business.
\nSometime during the day, the purse was removed. No other thefts were reported. The purse was described as having a flower print in a stripe pattern with a tan-colored leather trim and handles. The purse contained money, personal identification cards, a driver\u2019s license, deposit slips and vehicle keys.
