A theft of a gun was reported to state police recently.
\nPolice said someone entered the residence of Calvin Meredith Sharer along State Route 1019 in Snyder Township between 5 p.m. on July 19 and 7 p.m. on Aug. 8.
\nThe victim said a Highpoint 9mm handgun was missing.

\nA Tyrone man suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Aug. 12 at 10:45 a.m.
\nState police said Charles Benton III was driving a truck on Kerbaugh Road when he drifted off the road and into a ditch causing it to over turn.
\nBenton was not wearing a seat belt. His truck had moderate damage.

\nState police have reported the recovery of a stolen vehicle.
\nPolice said the vehicle was found in the parking lot of DelGrosso\u2019s Amusement Park in Tipton last Wednesday at 9:45 p.m. The vehicle belonging to John S. Jenkins of Glasgow was described as a 1995 Dodge Dynasty sedan, grey in color and valued at approximately $500. Police said anyone with information on the theft should contact the Hollidaysburg State Police.

\nA Tyrone man escaped injury in a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 99, 1\/4 mile north of the Grazierville exit in Snyder Township on Friday at 7:39 a.m.
\nPolice said two trucks were involved in the delivery of asphalt for work on I-99. A dump truck operated by James Zimmerman of Alexandria was in line, parked and ready to back up to the paver.
\nAnother dump truck operated by Jeffrey Snyder was backing up to get in line to deliver his load of asphalt. Police said Snyder did not see Zimmerman\u2019s dump truck in his mirrors and struck Zimmerman\u2019s truck.
\n Zimmerman also escaped injury. Both men were wearing seat belts. Police said Zimmerman\u2019s truck had moderate damage to the grill area, radiator, hood and front windshield. It required towing. Snyder\u2019s truck had minor damage.

\nA rural Tyrone man was the victim of a burglary on Friday at 9:15 p.m.
\nPolice said three known suspects entered the residence of James Earl Bryan without his consent. Police said while the suspects were at the residence they consumed the victim\u2019s alcoholic beverages and damaged a gun cabinet.
