A rural Tyrone residence was the scene of a theft and a burglary sometime between 8 a.m. last Thursday and 3 p.m. on Monday.
\nPolice said someone entered the home of Donald and Barbara Myers through unknown access. Once inside, they took nine bottles of wine from the kitchen wine rack and five bottles of liquor from a hall pantry. They also took about $500 in change from a large jar.

\nA 28-year-old Altoona man was involved in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 453 in Snyder Township on Saturday at 8:42 a.m.
\nThe crash happened when Daniel Diehl was traveling south on the road and for unknown reasons, he lost control of his vehicle while attempting to negotiate a gradual right hand curve. Diehl\u2019s car left the road and hit a large tree.

\nA Jeep Cherokee was stolen in Bellwood sometime between Saturday at 11 p.m. and Sunday at 9 a.m.
\nThe theft happened on N. 4th Street where the vehicle was parked. The vehicle belonged to Dobson Gwin and Foreman, Inc. of Altoona. The vehicle\u2019s registration plate is Pennsylvania ELH1847. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to contact state police at Hollidaysburg at 696-6100.

\nState police investigated an assault and harassment case that involved four teens at DelGrosso\u2019s Amusement Park in Tipton on Sunday.
\nPolice said two girls, ages 13 and 14 from State College, were assaulted by two teenage girls between the ages of 14 and 17 at two different locations at the park.
\nOne of the teen suspects was described as having blond hair and wearing a black jacket. The other suspect was described as having red hair and a noticeably protruding stomach.

\nAn Altoona man\u2019s parked car was hit in the main parking lot of DelGrosso\u2019s Amusement Park in Tipton on Sunday at approximately 4:45 p.m.
\nPolice said a suspected hit-and-run driver attempted to park beside Dean Maucaurelle\u2019s legally parked 1999 Suzuki, but instead hit its right-rear bumper.
\nThe hit-and-run vehicle fled in an unknown direction. Police said the driver was described as between ages 16 and 21 and was wearing a red DelGrosso\u2019s park shirt. The car\u2019s color was described as white.
