\nReed was traveling south on the road and lost control on the wet pavement and struck a rock. Reed was wearing a seat belt.

\nA Boalsburg man, 21-year-old Ryan M. Kopp, escaped injury in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 350 in Warriors Mark Township on May 15 at 10 p.m.
\nKopp was southbound on the road and swerved to avoid a deer that appeared on the road. The front end of Kopp\u2019s vehicle hit an embankment. Kopp was wearing a seat belt.

\nA 26-year-old Altoona woman, Kristen J. Hench, has been accused in a theft by unlawful taking case that happened in Antis Township on May 16 at 1:50 p.m.
\nPolice said Hench allegedly took cash from a purse belonging to Mildred A. Rhodes of Altoona. The incident happened along State Route 4019 in the Pinecroft area. Charges were to be filed against Hench at Magisterial District Judge Fred Miller\u2019s office.

\nRossi\u2019s store in Tipton, Antis Township was the scene of a pump-and-run incident last Thursday at 11:43 a.m.
\nPolice said an unidentified person pumped $30 worth of gas and left without paying for it.

\nA 14-year-old Tyrone boy has been accused in a retail theft case that occurred at Bickle\u2019s Surplus in Pinecroft, Antis Township last week.
\nThe incident occurred last Thursday at 6:15 p.m. when the boy was at the store with two other males. Police allege while the boy went through the store, he picked up a pocket knife. He then walked around with the knife and placed it in his pocket.
\nThe boy was confronted by a store employee and removed the knife from his pocket and placed it back on the shelf. He then denied taking anything. Police were continuing their investigation as of last Friday.

\nA Tyrone woman, Amanda Fetters, escaped injury in a one-vehicle accident on Sipes Road, Porter Township, Huntingdon County, on Sunday at 5:25 p.m.
\nFetters was traveling north on the road and attempted to negotiate a right curve. State police said the car was traveling too fast and partially left the road. The front end of the car hit an embankment on the northbound shoulder.
\nAfter the initial impact, the car rolled two to three times and came to a rest on its roof. The Alexandria Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
