The first ever area Family Fun Blast was held on Saturday at the Tyrone Area High School.
\nThe Rotary Club of Tyrone and Blair County Communities That Care teamed up to collaborate with area agencies, businesses, organizations and individuals to organize the event.
\nThere were all day activities and entertainment for those in attendance. Individuals were also able to register for a number of door prizes.
\nWhen families registered, they were given a card that was stamped at each visit to a station, and only completed cards qualified and were entered in for prizes. The names were drawn at Monday night\u2019s Tyrone Rotary Club meeting.
\nPrizes may be picked up at The Tyrone Area Chamber of Commerce office. For more information, call Rose Black at 684-0736.
\nThe winners are as follows:
\n\u2022 Two recipients of $20 Giant Eagle Cards are Sharon Gripp and Sarah Adame;
\n\u2022 Two recipients of $20 Martin Gift Cards are Breanna Pellas and Timmy Long;
\n\u2022 Two recipients of $10 Sheetz Gift Cards, cooler and State Farm water bottle are Madison Soellner and Kathleen Beck;
\n\u2022 Five recipients of two-all day ride and waterworks passes for DelGrossso\\’s Park are Jodi Wineland, Kosoglow Family, Devin Goldenbaum, Betsy Tyler and Heather Whalen;
\n\u2022 Two winners of Family Services carry all, steel flask and Lakemont Park two all day VIP ride and slide pass and miniature golf round are Alivia Halvorsen and Virginia Carnell;
\n\u2022 One winner of Family Services carry all, steel flask and two Galactic Ice passes is Devynn-Cheree\\’ Howard and
\n\u2022 One winner of a cooler and golf shirt is Katie Bowser.
