Big Brothers Big Sisters of Blair County has announced its annual Bowl for Kids\u2019 Sake Community Day 2006 scheduled for Wednesday, April 26 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Bowling Center.
\nTeams can pick the time they would like to bowl.
\nTeams of four to six people bowl for the children of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Blair County. To participate, a team is asked to raise a minimum of $150 or $30 per bowler.
\nAlong with a free game, there will be refreshments, musical entertainment, contests and lots of prizes will be given away all night.
\nAll bowlers are eligible to win additional prizes, based on the money they raise.
\nTeam captains should call the agency to register their team. The team captain will receive a team packet and will be responsible for handing out information and pledge sheets to their teammates. Captains also schedule the team\u2019s bowling time. Each team captain receives a free Bowl For Kids\u2019 Sake T-shirt the day of the event.
\nTop three money raisers win: first place, $100 Sheetz gift card; second place, $50 Sheetz gift card and third place, dinner for two at Don Pablo\u2019s.
\nIndividual prizes for money raised: $50, Bowl For Kids\u2019 Sake T-shirt; $100, Bowl For Kids\u2019 Sake long-sleeved shirt; $200, Hoss\u2019s\/Marzoni\u2019s gift card; $300, Hoss\u2019s\/Marzoni\u2019s gift card and $400, Hoss\u2019s\/Marzoni\u2019s gift card. All prizes are cumulative.
