A Bellwood man, Shawn M. Rilling, was involved in an accident on Feb. 26 at 2:30 p.m. on Route 550 in Snyder Township.
\nRilling lost control of his 2001 Dodge Durango, exited the road and struck a utility pole. Rilling and passengers Faith Rilling and daughter Aliyah Rilling were not injured.
\nAll parties were wearing seat belts or were in a child seat.

\nTwo people from Tyrone have been charged in a retail theft case that happened on Feb. 27 at 12:30 a.m. at Snappy\u2019s store in Bald Eagle, Snyder Township.
\nState police said 22-year-old Amanda Lynn Mottern and 26-year-old Jedidiah Robert Bellows, both of 1407 Pennsylvania Avenue, were charged with retail theft after they pumped $21.41 worth of gasoline and left the store premises without paying for it.

\nA 26-year-old driver from Indiana, PA was involved in a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 99, northbound near the Tyrone exit in Snyder Township on Feb. 28 at 7:35 a.m.
\nThe crash happened when Jing Yu lost control of his vehicle due to ice and snow covered road conditions. The vehicle went off the road onto a grassy embankment. Yu was not injured. Two passengers in the vehicle, 54-year-old Qiguang Yu and 51-year-old Minshen Shen, both of Indiana, also escaped injuries. All three occupants were wearing seat belts.

\nA Tyrone man was involved in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 453 on March 2 at 7:15 a.m.
\nThe crash happened when 49-year-old John S. Rudy attempted to negotiate a curve on the ice-covered road. His triaxle dump truck went onto the east embankment and struck a telephone pole. The truck rolled onto its side and came to rest partially on the road.
\nRudy was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.

\nA Warriors Mark woman escaped injury when she lost control of her vehicle on State Route 350 in Snyder Township on March 2 at 7:20 p.m.
\nMaria L. Dawson was driving on a snow and ice-covered roadway when the crash happened. Dawson was wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident.

\nA Tyrone area woman\u2019s garage was the site of a criminal mischief incident sometime between 9 p.m. on March 2 and 11:30 a.m. on March 3.
\nThe incident happened when someone shot out a garage window at the RD 4 residence of Lois Sprankle. A pink paintball was used to shoot out the window. Anyone with information on the incident should contact Hollidaysburg State Police at 696-6100.

\nThe Gilliland farm along Warriors Mark Path (State Route 350) was the scene of criminal mischief sometime between 6 p.m. on March 5 and 8:30 p.m. on March 6.
\nSomeone cut a high tensile wire fence that houses horses belonging to John Gilliland. The horses were discovered on the road by a passing motorist and were safely gathered and put in another pasture.
