State police released details about a December 4 accident recently.
\nA truck driven by 54-year-old Stephen Lee Shiffler hit the side of a SUV driven by 40-year-old Wendy A. Dillen with a plow.
\nPolice said neither driver was immediately aware a collision had occurred.
\nShiffler and Dillen were both wearing seat belts and were not hurt. A juvenile passenger in Dillen\u2019s vehicle was also wearing a seat belt and was not hurt.

\nPhilipsburg state police investigated a criminal mischief incident at St. Joseph Institute in Taylor Township, Centre County.
\nPolice said the incident happened sometime during a two-day period in mid-January when someone destroyed a large wooden sign that marks the entrance to the Institute along South Mountain Road. Several lights that illuminated the sign were also destroyed. The damage was estimated at approximately $1,400.
\nPolice said it appeared someone arrived in a large truck or SUV and a passenger got out and damaged the sign. Footprints were observed in the snow. Police are continuing their investigation.

\nA business in Antis Township was the scene of a theft between 7 p.m. last Wednesday and 3:30 a.m. on Thursday.
\nThe incident happened when someone removed a fuel line from one of trucks at Industrial Uniform Rentals on Park Avenue. Gasoline was removed from the vehicle.
\nPolice are continuing their investigation.

\nA 35-year-old Blandburg man suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 865 in Antis Township last Wednesday shortly after 10:30 p.m.
\nThe crash happened when Jeffrey Scott Ruckinger was traveling east on route 865 down the mountain from Blandburg towards Bellwood. His truck traveled off the road and struck a tree head-on. The truck then spun counter clockwise several times before coming to a rest in the middle of the road facing west.

\nA Bellwood man was the victim of an alleged harassment at a residence on Riggles Gap Road in Antis Township last Thursday at 6:40 p.m.
\nPolice say 19-year-old Benjamin Kay Grove was at the residence of a friend. Grove and the friend\u2019s father had a disagreement. Police said the friend\u2019s father pushed the victim twice and told him to leave the residence. Grove left the residence.
