After years of running the shop, Victoria Isenberg and her husband, Brooks, purchased the business from the Andersons in December 2004.
Once again, the business has changed hands. And, with this new change comes a new look.
Currently, Boytim is remodeling the building in preparation for the shop’s reopening.
Boytim said she will still serve specialty coffees, lattes, smoothies and cappuccinos but she will be expanding the business. She will be adding homemade baked goods to the menu. Ovens are being added to the kitchen so patrons can enjoy that “fresh out of the oven” goodness.
“I have been baking forever and everyone said I needed to open a bakery,” said Boytim. “When I heard Victoria was selling the coffee shop, everything just fell into place.”
Visitors will also notice several other changes including the extension of the front counter and the removal of walls that previously housed computers.
Boytim also plans to show off her baked goods in a display case in the front window.
“It’s a lighted, refrigerated case that will sit in the window.
