\nState police report two people were cited for underage drinking at 9:45 p.m.
\nJennifer D. McFarland, 18, of New Paris and Kurtis R. Dively, 20, of Sproul were both cited for the offense.
\nPolice also cited 21-year-old Michelle Lynn Bittner of New Paris for disorderly conduct. She allegedly set off fireworks that caused injuries to another person.

\nA 41-year-old Tyrone man has been accused of driving under the influence after an incident along State Route 865 and State Route 4021 in Antis Township on July 7 at 1:35 p.m.
\nPolice said Jeffery Eugene Sprankle was observed operating his vehicle in an erratic manner. A traffic stop was conducted and a strong odor of alcoholic beverage was detected on Sprankle\u2019s breath.
\nSprankle was taken into custody and committed to the Blair County Prison, on a parole detainer. In a press release on Sunday, state police said charges were to be filed at Magisterial District Judge Fred Miller\u2019s office for DUI and related offenses.

\nThree people were involved in an accident on July 13 in Warriors Mark Township at 12:25 p.m.
\nA truck driven by 62-year-old Donald Foster of Warriors Mark was traveling east on State Route 550 at the same time a car operated by 21-year-old Heather Young was stopped in the same lane waiting to turn left into a diner.
\nFoster\u2019s truck struck Young\u2019s car in the rear and pushed it into the oncoming lane where Young\u2019s car struck the front of truck driven by 60-year-old Charles Gault of Tipton.
\nYoung suffered minor face injuries while Gault had a minor head injury. Both were taken to Tyrone Hospital for treatment. Foster was not injured. All three drivers were wearing seat belts.
\nState police said all three vehicles had severe damage.

\nA 19-year-old Tyrone man was involved in a domestic simple assault case in Snyder Township on July 13 at 12:48 p.m.
\nState police said Rickie Owen Bollman, Jr. allegedly hit the victim, 18-year-old Heather Marie Mueller, at a residence on Teaberry Street. Bollman was arrested and charged with simple assault. He was committed to Blair County Prison in lieu of posting 10 percent of $3,000 bail.

\nHuntingdon-based state police investigated a report of harassment in Birmingham Borough on July 16 at 1 p.m.
\nAn 18-year-old woman, Alice Rose Scott, reported a 40-year-old woman, LaRue Cecelia Golemboski grabbed her by the arm and injured her foot. The investigation concluded the harassment charge was unfounded.
\nHowever, authorities said they determined Scott and Golemboski were yelling obscenities at each other outside a residence at 4055 Market Street. State police said both parties were cited for disorderly conduct.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
