The TAYBA All-Stars finished second to Mount Union in the four-team tournament, with a  record of 3-2, with both their losses to Mount Union.<br \/>\nIn the tournament opener for the locals, Tyrone built up a 7-1 advantage over the host Juniata Valley team and held on for a 7-5 win.<br \/>\nKorry Cowher led the Tyrone All-Stars with two singles and two runs scored, and Derrick Emigh and Johnny Kimberling added doubles and Jeremy Miller smashed a triple.<br \/>\nMiller pitched the first three innings striking out four and walking one. Miller  LP: Bunn<br \/>\nJune 25<br \/>\nMount Union 7  Tyrone 5<br \/>\nIn an 11 a.m. start on Saturday, Mount Union edged the Tyrone 11 &#038; 12 year-old All-Stars in eight innings by a 7-5 count. Mount Union had to score a run in their last at bat in regulation, tying the game at 5-5, with a tally in the top of the sixth to send the contest to extra innings.<br \/>\nTyrone was losing 4-1 going into the bottom of the fifth inning when Matt Myers hit a double over the Mt. Union first baseman\u2019s head with the bases loaded to score all three runners and knot the score at 4-4. Korry Cowher grounded out to short to get Myers home with the go-ahead run to set the stage for Mount Union\u2019s comeback.<br \/>\nTyrone still had one more opportunity in the bottom of the eighth, but Mount Union retired Tyrone one-two-three to advance into Sunday\u2019s championship game, while Tyrone fell into the consolation bracket.<br \/>\nJordan Faretta and Jesse Shaffer each banged out a pair of base hits to lead Tyrone, while Myers and Cowher hit doubles.<br \/>\nSmith and Dixon each had two hits for the winners, with both of Dixon\u2019s safeties being doubles.<br \/>\nMount Union &#8211; Imperioli, cf, 5-0-1; McClain, 3b, 4-2-0; Smith, ss, 5-0-2; Fye, 1b-eh, 4-1-1; Dixon, 4-0-2; Grainey, 3-0-0; Grove, lf, 4-0-1; B. Miller 2, Kimberling 2, Cowher 2.<br \/>\nWP: (Unknown)  LP: Cowher.<br \/>\nTyrone 7  Williamsburg 3<br \/>\nIn the losers bracket, Tyrone scored early and often to bounce Williamsburg 7-3 in a 7 p.m. Saturday contest.<br \/>\nThe Tyrone 11 &#038; 12 All-Stars started off slowly with just a single run in the bottom of the first, then picked up momentum with three in the second, two in the third and finally another solo tally in the fourth.<br \/>\nDespite a double and two home runs for Williamsburg in the top of the sixth inning, Tyrone pitchers Jeremy Miller and John Kimberling limited the damage to just the sixth to insure the victory.<br \/>\nMiller struck out six and walked none in three innings, while Kimberling added two more strikeouts and also failed to give out any free passes over the final three innings.<br \/>\nJordan Faretta, Richard Crabtree and Kimberling belted doubles and Jesse Shaffer drove in two runs to lead the offense.<br \/>\nWilliamsburg &#8211; N. Miller  LP: Biddle<br \/>\nJune 26<br \/>\nTyrone 10  Mount Union 9<br \/>\nAfter fighting back through the consy bracket, the Tyrone All-Stars had a dubious task of trying to defeat Mount Union twice to win the tournament championship.<br \/>\nThe local 11 &#038; 12 Year-old All-Stars fought off a mad rush by the Mt. Union team in the first championship game on Sunday at 3 p.m. to hand Mt. Union their first loss and force Game Two of the championship series.<br \/>\nTyrone jumped on the home team to score five times in each of the first two innings. Miller  LP: Imperioli<br \/>\nMount Union 16  Tyrone 3<br \/>\nAfter splitting a pair of close scoring games with Mount Union, the Tyrone 11 &#038; 12 All-Stars ran out of steam in the final championship game at 5 p.m. on Sunday. In the first game of the day, the locals had pounded out 15 hits and scored 10 runs. This time around, all the Tyrone All-Stars could manage was three runs on four hits, while Mount Union won the tournament title by smashing 20 hits and scoring 16 runs to polish off Tyrone 16-3.<br \/>\nDerrick Emigh, Korry Cowher and John Kimberling singled and Jordan Faretta had Tyrone\u2019s only extra-base hit, a double.<br \/>\nMount Union scored in every inning but the second to win going away, with Rogers pounding out four hits and Smith and Querry totaling three hits each.<br \/>\nThe Tyrone Area Youth Baseball Association 11 &#038; 12 year-olds are back on the tournament trail this weekend when they travel to Martinsburg.<br \/>\nMU &#8211; Imperioli, ss, 4-1-2; McClain, 3b, 4-2-2; Smith, 2b-eh, 4-3-3; Querry, eh-2b, 3-1-3; Dixon, p, 3-2-1; Grove, cf, 3-2-1; Grainey, c, 3-2-2; Rogers, rf, 4-1-4; Fye, 1b, 3-0-0; B.
