Harpster"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Betty J. Harpster, 71, of 816 Brookside Drive, Boalsburg died Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at 4 p.m. at Mt. Nittany Medical Center.<br \/>\nShe was born April 7, 1932 in Tyrone, a daughter of Robert L. and Stella Louise (Brede) Emeigh.<br \/>\nOn March 8, 1953 at Warriors Mark United Methodist Church she married Ralph L. Harpster.<br \/>\nSurviving are her husband, a daughter Cathy A. Tennis and husband Frank of Bellefonte, a son Stephen L. and wife Shirley of Julian, three grandchildren, Shawn Houser, Jason Tennis and Nicole Keeler, four great-grandchildren, Michael and Alison Houser, Hailey Tennis and Jackson Morton and a brother James E. Emeigh of Vineland, New Jersey.<br \/>\nShe was preceded in death by two brothers Robert L. and Charles E. Emeigh.<br \/>\nMrs. Harpster was a member of the Warriors Mark United Methodist Church and was formerly employed at McCrorys Department Store, Tyrone and at Mellon Bank, State College.<br \/>\nMemorial services will held Sunday, May 22, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Feller Memorial Home, Tyrone with Rev. Peggy Bonsell officiating. Burial will be at Burket Cemetery, Warriors Mark Township. There will be no viewing. Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until the time of the services.<br \/>\nMemorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society, Attn: Web, P.O.
