The Daily Herald\u2019s northern Blair County tourism directory is now in production.
\nLocal and area groups, organizations, fire departments, communities and churches are invited to submit their summer events to be included in the publication.
\nDeadline to include all events is Monday, May 23.
\nThe tourism directory will be included in the Saturday, May 28 edition of The Daily Herald.
\nSummer events can be submitted by faxing, emailing, or mailing information to The Daily Herald office.
\nThe fax number is 684-4238, email is dherald@verizon.net and the mailing address is P.O. Box 246, Tyrone, PA 16686.
\n\u201cThe tourism edition will serve as a handy reference guide to all those businesses which cater to summer entertainment and tourism,\u201d said Patty Hyde, Daily Herald advertising representative.
\nBusinesses can still place their ad in the tourism guide by contacting advertising representatives, Patty Hyde or Linda Daniels, at 684-4000.
