Two men escaped injury in a two-vehicle accident on State Route 4027 in Antis Township on April 19 at 5:20 p.m.
\nSeventy-two-year-old Walter Williams of Altoona was attempting to make a U-turn in front of a vehicle operated by 50-year-old Max Sharpless of Philipsburg.
\nThe front of Sharpless\u2019 vehicle struck the left front of Williams\u2019 car.
\nBoth drivers were wearing seat belts and both vehicles had severe damage.

\nState police report a case of criminal mischief on Sandbank Road in Antis Township on April 24.
\nSomeone damaged three vehicle windows while they were parked at a business in the area.

\nA pick-up truck driver failed to stop at the scene of an accident along Becker Road in Antis Township.
\nThe crash happened when another pick-up driven by 22-year-old Joseph L. Smith was traveling west on Becker Road. The unknown driver was traveling east and crossed over the center line, into the westbound lane and sideswiped Smith\u2019s vehicle on the left side.
\nThe unidentified driver left the scene, traveling east on Becker Road, without stopping to provide assistance or information as required.
\nSmith was wearing his seat belt and was not injured.
\nThe unidentified vehicle was described as an older model, full-sized pick-up truck with damage to the left side.

\nA 36-year-old Bellwood man was involved in a one-vehicle accident at the intersection of State Route 22 and State Route 655 in Mill Creek Borough in Huntingdon County on April 27 at 4:50 a.m.
\nJonathan Learn was eastbound on State Route 655, pulling a small camper with a pick-up truck, when the left rear wheel came off and struck the camper. The axle caught fire, according to information released by the state police. Learn stopped the vehicle in the eastbound lane of Route 22.
\nA member of the Smithfield Fire Company, Jeffrey Shaffer, was on his way to work and used a fire extinguisher to put out the fire.
\nLearn was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. A passenger in the truck, Michael Rightenour, 32, Altoona, was also belted and was not injured.
\nPolice said the pick-up truck had moderate damage.

\nA 30-year-old Bellwood man was arrested for DUI on Allegheny Street in Hollidaysburg on April 27 at 9:50 p.m.
