A Bellwood man was arrested for DUI in Antis Township on March 27 at 2:21 p.m.
\nState police said Christopher Shelter was arrested at the intersection of State Route 1001 at Stadium Drive. The police release offered no other details.

\nA rural 37-year-old Tyrone woman was involved in a two-vehicle hit-and-run accident with an unidentified driver on Interstate 99 on March 28 at 2:20 p.m.
\nEmilee F. Jenkins was driving south on the road about a mile-and-a-half from the Pinecroft exit in Logan Township. Another vehicle identified as a gray sedan was also southbound on the road.
\nThe sedan was in left lane while Jenkins\u2019 vehicle was in the right lane. The unidentified driver went into the right lane for unknown reasons and sideswiped Jenkins\u2019 vehicle.
\nAfter hitting the woman\u2019s car, the other driver fled the scene continuing south on I-99. Jenkins pulled her vehicle onto the west berm.
\nThe state police report did not indicate any injuries or damage estimates to Jenkins vehicle. There was also no description of the suspect driver.

\nA 21-year-old driver from Middletown, MD lost control of her vehicle on Interstate 99 during heavy rain on March 28 at 4:25 p.m.
\nKristin M. Kiser was driving on the highway in Snyder Township and lost control of her car and spun off the road hitting a drain pipe and an embankment.
\nKiser suffered a minor injury and was wearing a seat belt. Her car had severe damage.

\nState police reported a theft at a residence in Snyder Township sometime between March 29 and April 5.
\nThe victim reported someone entered a storage shed at a property on Meade Street in Northwood and took a MTD portable generator.

\nPolice investigated foolish activity on April 1 at the Bellwood-Antis High School in Antis Township.
\nA 16-year-old male student was removed from the school for possession of drug paraphernalia. A report issued a few hours after the 11:40 a.m. incident said police were continuing their investigation at the time.

\nThe American Eagle Paper Mill was ripped off in early April.
\nPart of an aluminum catwalk was unlawfully taken but was later returned to the facility after it was spotted a mile away from the plant.
\nUnknown suspects entered the rear of the mill and removed a large section of aluminum catwalk, about 14-feet long and weighing 200 pounds. Police believe the suspect(s) used a four-wheeler to drag the catwalk about a mile up the railroad bed then attempted to hide it in the bushes. Police said an alert neighbor saw the stolen catwalk and informed police.
\nAuthorities determined it was taken from the mill and the section was returned to the company and secured. The incident happened sometime between 7 p.m. on April 1 and 5:42 p.m. on April 2.
