\nJoshua Hampton allegedly threw a cell phone owned by Shonda Moon and broke it. Police said Hampton was arrested for a summary offense.

\nA rural Tyrone teen was the victim of a burglary on March 21 between 7:30 a.m. and noon.
\nThe incident happened at a residence located on South 5th St. in the village of Grazierville in Snyder Township.
\nSomeone entered the residence through an unlocked window, ransacked the property and took a cell phone belonging to a teen and some change before leaving the residence.

\nA one-vehicle accident involving a truck driven by a New York state man happened on State Route 4027 in Snyder Township on March 21, shortly before 10 a.m.
\nFifty-four-year-old Diego Laureano was driving south and was attempting to go around a right curve in the road. He cut the curve sharply causing the right rear of his trailer to strike a bridge abutment. The trailer needed to be towed from the scene.
\nLaureano was cited for careless driving.

\nA 20-year-old Bellwood woman was cited for retail theft after an incident on March 21 at 10:30 a.m.
\nState police said Amber Dawn Deleo was cited after the incident at Bickle\u2019s Surplus, in Pinecroft, Antis Township.

\n A Tyrone woman was involved in a two-vehicle accident involving an unidentified truck driver at the intersection of State Route 865 at State Route 1001 in Antis Township on March 23 at 9:15 a.m.
\nHolly Henry was stopped in traffic southbound on SR 865, just prior to the SR 1001 intersection.
\nA red tri-axle dump truck was behind her vehicle. As the traffic light turned green, the truck hit Henry\u2019s vehicle from behind. After the impact, the truck fled the scene.

\nA Warriors Mark man was victimized by a theft which happened along State Route 350 in the township, sometime between 12:30 a.m. on March 24 and 12:15 a.m. on March 27.
\nHuntingdon-based state police said John Gilliland had mail stolen from his mailbox. Authorities were continuing their investigation at the time of their release on the incident in late March.

\nA 48-year-old Altoona man was arrested for simple assault after an incident on State Route 4019 near the Pinecroft fire hall in Antis Township on March 25 at 6:30 p.m.
\nState police responded to a call at the hall about a man pulling a knife on a cab driver. Upon arrival, police found Fred Leroy Mallery at the fire hall parking lot. The cab driver was located a short distance up the street.
\nThe driver, 55-year-old Edward Schroeder of A-1 taxi in Altoona, told police that he picked up Mallery in Altoona and gave him a ride to his car which was parked near the hall.
\nMallery allegedly failed to pay for the cab fare. When Schroeder insisted on payment, Mallery threatened to hit him wit a metal wrench he was holding at the time. He then put down the wrench, displayed a knife, and threatened to stab the cabbie. Schroeder then called the police.
\nMeanwhile, Mallery\u2019s car wouldn\u2019t start so he left vehicle and started walking. Police said when they located Mallery, he was uncooperative, belligerent and said he was using crack cocaine, heroin and other drugs.
\nMallery was placed into a police cruiser and tried to kick out the rear windows of the vehicle and had to be restrained.
\nMallery was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Fred Miller in Tyrone. He was charged with simple assault, harassment, public drunkenness and similar misconduct as well as theft of services.
\nHe was placed in Blair County Prison on $10,000 bail. A preliminary hearing was held on March 29 before Judge Miller and the case was waived to the Blair County Court of Common Pleas.
