Last week\u2019s St. Patrick\u2019s Day holiday featured the play, \u201cThe Little Red Hen, The Musical\u201d at the Tyrone Area Elementary School.
\nThe play was performed by Mrs. Susan Friday\u2019s first grade class.
\nIt was written and directed by Mr. Josh Spangler and Mrs. Friday. Mr. Spangler is the student teacher joining Mrs. Friday\u2019s class from Juniata College. He worked tirelessly for weeks on this production. His grandmother, Ruby Rock, designed and sewed the capes while he assembled each headpiece.
\nOther helpers included: Mrs. Smith as backstage help and videographer, Mrs. Schadle as backstage help and props, TAHS student Miss Tania assisted with practice and Mrs. Hess helped with the recording of music. Lighting and seating were provided by the TAES custodians.
\nThe cast of the production was as follows: Kendra Walker as the Little Red Hen, Gabriella McCracken as the Pig, Finnley Christine as the Cow and Darius Brenneman as the goat.
\nDucks were: Sarah Isenberg, Marina Higgins, Ryan Clouser, Victoria Marshall and Robert Ham. Dogs were: Jack Ashcroft, Jeffery Romano, Harley Walters and Eliza Tangen. Cats were: Sawyer Crawford, Larry Kobuck, Madison Noll and Lance Loose. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
